blender barbie

Mark your calendars because July 27th is National Barbie in a Blender Day. My sister sent me this link yesterday and I thought it was pretty funny. Alas, there aren't many pictures yet. But, folks who blender their Barbies on the 27th are encouraged to send in pictures which will then be posted on the site. I did horrible things to my Barbies as a kid. I know this is probably a typical near-universal precursor to feminism. I only had a couple barbies and I used to dye their hair with food coloring and take off their limbs. They were always naked. I guess I was never in to changing their clothes. And my Barbies never had sex. I have talked to numerous people my age who made their Barbies (with or without Ken) fool around but my Barbies never did this. But, I do remember hanging one from a noose in my mother's closet.
