grad school, politics, knitting and other meanderings. And not enough time for any of it.

the healing hands of autumn?*

It is October 4th. I live in Wisconsin. It is 76 degrees outside right now. The high today was in the 80s. I turned my AC on last night and again tonight for a little while. This is all very disconcerting. I want it to be crisp and chilly out. I want to wear turtlenecks and cardigans, not t-shirts. I know I am in the minority- but I really dislike the heat. Bring on Fall! And then after a month or so of crunching through leaves and drinking rum and apple cidar, (Wisconsin doesn't have enough of an autumn as it is) bring on some snow! *that's an Indigo Girls lyric, folks.
